Digital cash
Our digital cash is simply real money in digital form. It can be used to purchase digital assets, exchanged for world currencies, or spent on your cards anywhere.
Digital cash “lives” in two worlds: Fluid (for everyone) and on-chain (optionally, for crypto users).

How digital cash works on-chain
The world’s first fully backed, transparent, on-chain verifiable digital cash.
Together with our community, we have created digital cash for the digital age.
Fluid enables users to mint their own digital cash, right from their Fluid Account or their Traditional Account.
Or, you can simply purchase digital cash directly on-chain.
Built for mass crypto adoption.
You are the Mint
With us, the user mints digital cash using their own world currency deposits.
When the user presses ‘mint’, their USD deposits get sent to Fluid’s public treasury account, which is broadcasted to the blockchain (demonstrating our on-chain verifiable reserves).
Digital dollars (DUSD) are then minted to the user’s Web3 wallet (like MetaMask).
This happens in seconds on Arbitrum, and is cheaper and more convenient than using a crypto exchange.
You are also in control of redeeming
When the user presses ‘redeem’, the digital dollars (DUSD) get burned.
The user receives the money back to their own Fluid Account or Traditional Account.
For Traditional Account holders USD moves from our treasury account to the user’s account with us.
Again in seconds.
Our smart contract doesn’t allow more digital dollars to be created than there are USD in the public treasury account, on-chain.
Fluid’s digital cash is verifiable to anyone, on-chain, 24/7. Faster, cheaper and safer than anything else.
You can buy digital cash or you can mint digital cash
